Best Rate Guarantee Terms & Conditions
At Hotel Wailea, we are committed to offering you the best available rate for your stay. If you find a lower rate for the same room type and stay dates within 24 hours of booking on hotelwailea.com, we will gladly allow you to cancel your existing reservation and re-book at the lower rate. Please review the terms and conditions below.

How to Submit a Claim
To take advantage of our Best Rate Guarantee, you must submit a claim within 24 hours of booking your reservation. Contact us at 1.866.970.4167 or email reservations@hotelwailea.com. The lower rate must be available for immediate booking at the time of your claim, as confirmed by our reservations team.

Exact Match Requirement
The lower rate must be for an identical room type, stay dates, and terms as your original booking on hotelwailea.com. The rate comparison will be based on the total nightly rate, including all applicable taxes and fees. The lower rate must be a standalone offer, not part of a package or bundle with other travel services or activities.

Exclusions: Package Deals & Opaque Bookings
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to opaque websites where room details are only revealed after booking, or package deals that include other travel services like flights or car rentals. You must meet any conditions tied to the lower rate, such as residency or age restrictions.

Rates Must Be Publicly Available
The lower rate must be advertised and available to the general public on an English-language website. The guarantee does not apply to:

  • Rates from membership programs, corporate discounts, or special promotions
  • Group, charter, rewards program, incentive, or convention rates
  • Prices obtained through auctions, or with coupons or private offers
  • Inclusions (late check out, credits, waived fees, etc.) for rates offered by third parties
  • Rates quoted or booked via phone or email do not qualify, and all rates must be in US dollars.

Verification of Claims
All claims are subject to verification by our reservations team. We cannot honor a claim if we are unable to independently confirm the lower rate. Hotel Wailea reserves the right to decline any claim deemed to be the result of an error or submitted in bad faith.

Program Changes
Hotel Wailea reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee at any time, without notice. Changes will not affect claims that have already been verified.

Prepaid & Non-Refundable Bookings
The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to prepaid or non-refundable rates, including those booked through hotelwailea.com. All prepaid reservations remain non-refundable.

Hotel Wailea’s failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
